North Light was formed June 1996 to provide the Chattanooga region with a fast, high quality, specialized photographic lab service. With a strong request from the areas professional photographers, Chris Oughtred brought his vast knowledge and experience to town and built North Light Imaging Service. Chattanooga now has a lab that can provide clean, consistent, and accurate E-6 film processing, dupes, and custom prints from transparencies or negatives.

North Light is the only lab in town that implements "dip & dunk" E-6 film processing technology. The "dip & dunk" process is superior because it allows nothing to touch the film surface but fresh, closely monitored chemicals. Clean, consistent and accurate results can be expected on a daily basis.

Fast turnaround is part of North Light's appeal, offering two-hour E-6 processing. Unlike other area labs, North Light caters to the needs of the working photographer where deadlines are as important as quality. Custom print and dupe orders are completed in only a few days.
